Lilly

Lilly is the most loving, snuggliest dog I've ever met in 20+ years of dog rescue. When I look at her now it is hard to believe that it took me two days, nights and countless pieces of chicken just to entice her into my yard.  

I first saw her running down my gravel road, ribs sticking out, dragging a frayed rope behind her. Her terror, and lack of trust suggested a disturbing past.

Although Lilly was fearful she showed an eagerness to learn and please. After months of patience and unconditional love Lilly has her complete trust back.  

Lilly spends her days learning new things, exploring, napping, and snuggling with whoever is nearby, (human, dog, or cat!) She always finds times to squeeze in a game of hide and seek through the doggie door! Lilly also loves to dance and does a delightful tap dance while waiting impatiently for her food!

Lilly loves dogs and finds great comfort with them so having a doggie friend would be a big plus. Lilly also gets along well with cats.

Due to Lilly's difficult past a small, settled, household with no children would be best.  

Lilly wants nothing more in life than a patient, loving owner who will let her snuggle to her heart's content! In return you will be blessed with joy, happiness, laughter, snuggles, and an abundance of love.
